The short version

Say It Like is local-first. Your voice files, recordings, generated audio, and typed text stay on your Mac. The app does not collect personal data, does not require an account, and does not send your content to any server operated by Good Faith Labs.

What the app stores

All data — voice samples, transcripts, audio outputs, presets, and settings — is written to your chosen Voice Library folder on your local disk. You own it. You can move it, delete it, or back it up however you like. Uninstalling the app does not remove this folder.

Third-party services

One feature may involve Apple system services outside the core app flow:

Apple on-device transcription

When transcribing audio for voice cloning, Say It Like uses Apple's on-device Speech framework. Audio is processed locally by Apple's APIs. Apple's own privacy policy governs this feature. See apple.com/legal/privacy.

Analytics and tracking

None. Say It Like contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporter that phones home, and no telemetry of any kind. There is nothing to opt out of.
